Two hearts connect when communication becomes a bridge rather than a barrier.

When ego, pride, unforgiveness, bitterness, and strife stand in the space between two hearts, they create walls that make connection difficult.

But when these things are surrendered and put to death, communication becomes a bridge, one that allows love, understanding, grace, and joy to flow freely between two people.

Just as Christ loved the Church and gave Himself for her, husbands and wives are called to love one another with the same spirit of selflessness and sacrifice.

When pride gives way to humility, unforgiveness to grace, and strife to peace, two hearts can find their way back to each other.

“Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.” — Ephesians 5:25

Ephesians 2:14 KJV – For He is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

Love does not build walls; it builds bridges.

 However, when Christ is at the center, communication can become the bridge that joyfully reconnects two hearts.
