Grace is from the Greek word _Charis_, which means divine influence upon a person that gives him supernatural competitive advantage in life. Another word for grace is _Charm_, which also means attractiveness or a pool, an enticement or an irresistible magnetic force that pulls things towards a person.
It is grace that makes the journey of life great. Therefore, we must seek to grow in grace. We must grow from grace to greater grace (2 Peter 3:18).
How To Grow In Grace
1. You must have a strong, persistent desire and unquenchable thirst for grace (Psalm 21:2, Isaiah 44:3, 2 Kings 2:14).
2. You must have willingness for hard labour. Grace is not for lazy people; God gives more grace to the diligent (1 Corinthians 15:10).
3. Maintain humility as a lifestyle (James 4:6, 1 Peter 5:5).
4. Honour men of grace for impartation of grace.
Recognize that there are men to whom God has given different “graces.” Honour them by accepting their person. Listen to their words; follow their footsteps of faith and sow into their lives for a return of harvest (Proverbs 27:18).
